Quick, quick, the year begins!

Goodbye 2007. I very much enjoyed your company. Your weather could have been better but everything else you gave me was wonderful. I not only got my dream job, released two (and a half) records and played a gig, but I also got the best girlfriend in the world and started playing the trumpet and piano properly. I did not have too much time to listen to music but thank you very much for the following albums:

1) Load Blown by Black Dice - Noisy, crazy, blippy warmth
2) Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem - Super lyrics super beats super laughs, and depth!
3) The Reminder by Feist - Pop! Melody! Banjos! (Slightly show-off vocals) Good songs.
4) The Locksmith Cometh by Nedelle - Melody! Funny lyrics. Truth. Adorable vocals.
5) Kala by MIA - Too busy dancing to comment + heart changing Paper Planes.
6) Scribble Mural Comic Journal by A Sunny Day In Glasgow - Dreamworld mbv-in-carwash loveliness.
7) Person Pitch by Panda Bear - Best sounding album of the year but not enough songs. Probably the best album of the year.
8) In Debt To by Napoleon IIIrd - Lo-fi underground strained vocals singalong goodness

Hello 2008.

I will be writing a musical this year. It will be about ghosts and relationships. I do not yet have a title but it will be performed sometime around Halloween. More soon. If anyone wants to get involved as a musician, actor/singer, prop maker and such please get in touch with me.

I will spend more time keeping in touch with people myself this year.

I will force myself to write a blog as often as possible this year.

I will go to sleep now.
